20 Firms Participate in Export Project

The Ballarat ICT Cluster Export Project commenced during June 2008. Since that time 20 firms have take-up the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one meeting with Peter Whitefield, Senior Export Advisor from SED Consulting.

When interview outputs are combined the Ballarat ICT Cluster will have a much more detailed understanding of the current levels of export activity, export related issues restricting business growth and be better able to identify opportunities for ICT businesses to expand through export.

The focus in coming weeks will shift towards planing two export focused workshops which will be held during August 2008. Participation by members of the Ballarat Export Network would be welcome. Event details will be published as www.ballaratict.com.au as they are finalised.
