BUILDING EXPORT CAPABILITIES SEMINARS
After weeks of collating information about where Ballarat ICT Cluster members are at in regard to exporting, we are now ready to proceed with two highly tailored workshops to support and enhance Ballarat ICT members with their exporting efforts.
The two workshops will be held on Wednesday 24th September and Wednesday 8th October, 2008 at the Greenhill Enterprise Centre Conference Room.
Local Exporter Case Studies- 24th September 2008
This workshop starts at 4.15pm and concludes at 6.30pm
During the past 3 months, the Ballarat ICT Cluster has been conducting research on export potential and successes with a small group of members from the Ballarat ICT Cluster.
Results from this research have now been collated. One of the outcomes from the project was the need for cluster members to hear first hand what its like for an ICT business to actually "export". In other words......what is it really like?
This workshop will give you the chance to hear about the journey some of our members have embarked on with their export adventures. The speakers have all been involved in exporting for a number of years and would like to share their experiences with you.

Financial Assistance for Exporters- 8th October 2008

Two of the most common questions asked by potential exporters are "what assistance is available" and "how can I save some money"?
You won't have to wait too long for these answers because on Wednesday 8 October 2008, the Ballarat ICT Cluster is providing a workshop that will be one of the most helpful in your search for answers, dollars and help.
The speakers will be giving practical hints, advice and information regarding how you can recover some export expenditure through a wide range of various Government programs.
