BROADBAND AWARDS, PRESENTED BY ATUG
Australian Telecommunications Users Group (ATUG) is looking for Australia’s leaders in the effective use of broadband.
ATUG has been at the forefront of the debate in Australia about broadband since 2001. ATUG’s interest is making sure broadband is available everywhere at affordable prices so users can experience firsthand the changes broadband makes possible.
In 2007 ATUG began the search for Australia’s Leaders in the effective Use of Broadband using our network of members, associations, industry, government and contacts from our successful ATUG regional Communications Roadshow.
ATUG presented awards to people really making a difference with broadband in health, security, agri-business and community life.
In 2009 ATUG’s national search begins now with the launch of the 2009 Broadband Awards. ATUG will be looking in all states, with the support of the state based branches and Conveyors. ATUG will be working with Government to find broadband champions across Australia. They will be working with industry and industry associations to find the best examples of broadband making a difference.
ATUG will be encouraging users of broadband from business- small and large, government and community to tell their story of the benefits broadband has towards business and everyday life.
The winners of the Broadband Awards for 2009 will be announced at ATUG’s 2009 Annual Gala Dinner Event attended by 300 industry leaders.
