• Ballarat ICT Ltd is a not-for-profit partnership of industry, government and educational institutions dedicated to sustaining and growing a globally competitive information, communication and technology (ICT) industry in Ballarat.
• Its purpose is to ensure that all agencies, organisations and groups that exist to foster Ballarat's regional development, and that represent the interests of the Ballarat ICT community, are actively committed to, and involved in, achieving one vision for Ballarat:

Ballarat will become acknowledged internationally for the strength and innovativeness of its ICT industry, the strategic use of ICT by lead users in the region, and the rapid diffusion and effective use of new technologies by its community.

• Ballarat ICT Ltd plays an important community governance role by implementing policies, processes and programs which serve the needs of the Ballarat ICT Cluster, other ICT stakeholders, and the people of Ballarat.
• Its organisational culture is based on the principles of honesty, trust and integrity, openness, performance orientation, responsibility and accountability, mutual respect, and commitment to organisational goals and outcomes.
