Appendix 1: Invitation to ICT Cluster workshops
A study to investigate the formation of an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Cluster in Ballarat was launched on 15 July 2005. Through this study the University of Ballarat is assisting the City of Ballarat and other stakeholders to:
- Identify the size and capabilities of Ballarat's ICT Industry and its support services, relationships and networks.
- Work with industry members to identify needs in terms of business development, marketing and growth opportunities.
- Launch www.ballaratict.com – a management and communication system to support engagement with local organisations and promote ICT cluster activities and capabilities.
