Steering Committee Meeting 18 August 2005
At this meeting the Research Team outlined the major stages of the Ballarat ICT Cluster Consultancy project and reported on activities that were being undertaken in the lead-up to the official launch of the project on 23 August 2005.

Steering Committee Meeting 30 September 2005
The top line results of the Ballarat ICT Survey were presented to members of the Ballarat ICT Cluster Steering Committee. At this time 27 local ICT firms had responded to the online survey that had been designed to gather information about the size, capabilities, needs and aspirations of the Ballarat ICT Sector.

Steering Committee Meeting 9 November 2005
At the November Steering Committee Meeting the non-ICT survey responses were reported with responses contrasted with those from the ICT firm survey.

Ballarat ICT Cluster Profile Study Report
This report presents the outcomes of Phase 1 of the Ballarat ICT Cluster Consultancy. It profiles suppliers and users of ICT and seeks to ask the question -  is there a dynamic grouping of ICT firms and organisations in Ballarat. This report has been prepared to assist the City of Ballarat and other stakeholders in developing a solid understanding of local capabilities and attitudes. It will also inform the development of strategies to promote growth within the Ballarat ICT cluster.

Ballarat ICT Cluster Workshops 22 November 2005
Ballarat's ICT firms and support organisations had a chance to have their say about future directions and activities for Ballarat's ICT industry at two workshops held during November 2005.

Steering Committee Meeting 12 December 2005
Outputs form the Ballarat ICT Cluster workshops were presented to members of the Ballarat ICT Cluster Steering Committee at their December meeting. Steering committee members reflected on the SWOT analysis which was developed by workshop participants. They also discussed the core imperatives that had been identified and considered how these could be factored into future plans.

Steering Committee Meeting 1 March 2006
University of Ballarat Research Team members presented the draft of the final report for the Phase 2. The key objective of this stage of the Ballarat ICT Cluster Consultancy was the development of an Organisational Plan for the Ballarat ICT cluster. Members of the Steering Committee had the opportunity to refine the Cluster vision; and to review and discuss priority actions; communications strategies; performance criteria; and the monitoring and evaluation strategies presented in the report.

Ballarat ICT Cluster Organisational Plan
This report describes the Ballarat ICT Cluster vision and governance arrangements. It presents the prioritised recommendations based on key issues and outcomes of the Cluster Profile Study. It identifies communication strategies to promote information exchange and the local knowledge base. It also considers performance criteria for future monitoring and evaluation.
