Victorian eHealth Network Forum
You are invited to the third Victorian eHealth Network Forum to be held in Ballarat, Tuesday 3rd March 2009.
The event to be held at Greenhill Enterprise Centre, University of Ballarat Technology Park, will include a speaking event and networking over lunch.
Topics that will be covered during the presentations, "The future of eHealth from IBM perspective", "Innovation in the Clever County. Why it's necessary", and an update on the Ballarat ICT eHealth and ICT project.

Participation in the University of Ballarat Technology Park and Ballarat IT Professionals Breakfast continues to grow. These networking events are held on the third Tuesday of each month.

ACS Conference - Greening ICT towards sustainability
The Australian Computer Society (ACS) invites Ballarat ICT cluster members to consider registering for its Victorian Branch conference which will be held at the Novotel Forest Resort in Creswick. The Conference is the flagship event for the ACS Victorian Branch and is designed to highlight current issues facing the profession. No Limits up for SEVEN national television awards
Ballarat-based national multimedia and eLearning company, yum productions are thrilled to be heading to the 2009 Antenna Awards with seven nominations for the television program No Limits as series producer with Grit Media executive producer.
yum was contracted by Grit Media to executive direct the organisation and also to produce the last two seasons of No Limits and has taken the show from a training ground for people with disabilities to being a high quality show, with fabulous stories. ‘Our idea for the show was to build quality production values, build each episode with three or four really strong story lines to challenge and entertain at the same time. We wanted to be controversial and not shy away from difficult issues.' Erin said.

OzWIT 2009: striving to improve diversity and equity in IT: 11th Australian Women in IT Conference.
The 11th OzWIT conference will be held at the Deakin University Burwood (TBC) ON November 30 and December 1, 2009. The OzWIT conference will precede the Australiasian Conference in Information Systems (ACIS) to be held at Monash University. Delegates are encouraged to consider combining the two conferences.
OzWIT has a mission of informing, sharing, community building, and re-energising those involved in the recruitment and retention of women in information technology.

Business Opportunities with Shanghai World Expo Pavilion
The Industry Capability Network (ICN) is currently seeking registrations from Australian businesses interested in opportunities with the Australian Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
ICN is a government-funded organisation that supports Australian industry by matching businesses with the relevant opportunities and assisting purchasers locate competitive Australian suppliers.
The Expo will be held from 1 May to 31 October 2010, and will be the largest in history. Over 2220 countries and organisations are expected to take part in the Shanghai World Expo and organisers predict up to 70 million visitors will attend.
