On Tuesday 29 July 2008 the Ballarat ICT Cluster, in conjunction with National ICT Careers Week held the first Ballarat 'Get into IT' Round Table Dinner at the Greenhill Enterprise Centre. The evening brought together over 60 participants including some of our most successful and ambitious ICT professionals and local students considering a future career in Information, Communication and Technology. :: Networking Lunch "VicICT for Women Mentor Program" - Friday 18 April 2008
Ballarat ICT for Women's first networking event for 2008 was held on Friday 18 April.
Local ICT professionals came together to learn about a mentor program which has been established by VicICT for Women. Participants were asked to share their experience and explore the benefits and opportunity for Ballarat ICT for Women to link in with this new program. [View full report]
:: Getting the Balance Right - Friday 26 October, 2007
Ballarat ICT for women held its third and final event for 2007 on Friday 26 October.
Marita Ryan, Performance and Development Consultant (The Coaching Institute), led the 28 attendees through various strategies for obtaining the balance you desire and shared some of her own life experiences with the group.

:: Effective Networking Panel Discussion - Friday 27 July, 2007
Ballarat ICT for Women recently held its second event for 2007, focusing on the theme "Effective Networking". Guest presenters were Ms Judy Verlin, who is a former Mayor of Ballarat, and currently works with BRACE, as well as being involved in numerous community activities; and Joanna Stevens, Founder and Managing Director of Premier PR.
:: Networking Lunch - Friday 20 April 2007
The Ballarat ICT for Women Network held its first function for 2007 on Friday, 20 April. More than 30 (mostly female) IT professionals from Ballarat and district took part in a panel discussion on current ICT issues in the region.
| Panel members with expertise in small and large business, technology adoption, education, government policy and regional development led discussion with the goal of exploring opportunities and challenges for regional women in ICT. |

:: Networking Luncheon - October 2006

The first Ballarat ICT for Women luncheon was held at the University of Ballarat SMB Campus during October 2006. This event attracted more than 35 participants. It also attracted in-kind support from organisations including Multimedia Victoria, VicICT for Women, the City of Ballarat, IBM and University of Ballarat. Many attendees indicated thatthey would like to continue networking with women who are employed in diverse ICT roles across the Ballarat region.
