Browse the information below to find out more about the 2007 Ballarat ICT Cluster Panel Series.  The Ballarat ICT Cluster Project Team acknowledges and thanks the individuals and organisations who have agreed to support the Ballarat ICT Cluster through their participation as Panel Members in the 2007 Ballarat ICT Cluster Panel Series.

Panel 1: Business growth through successful tendering

The first event in the 2007 Ballarat ICT Cluster Panel Series explored opportunities for business growth through individual and collaborative tendering. It was held on Tuesday 8 May 2007 at the Greenhill Enterprise Centre. Panel members included:

  • Dr Patrice Braun, University of Ballarat (Facilitator)

  • Providing there is sufficient interest from participant we hope to establish a Ballarat ICT Action Group as an outcome of this panel event. This new group will develop and implement strategies to support interested businesses in developing their skills and success through individual and collaborative tendering.

    Panel 2: Partnering with your ICT professional for business innovation

    Panel 2 was held at the Mining Exchange in Lydiard Street Ballarat on Wednesday 23 May 2007. This event brought ICT professionals and business owners together to share their experiences and to explore questions on how to successfully communicate IT needs, tap into local IT expertise and increase collaboration to add value to local businesses.

    This interactive forum was held in conjunction with the Ballarat Innovation Festival.  Panel Members included:

    Panel 3: Fostering regional research and commercialisation through the Ballarat ICT Cluster

    The third Ballarat ICT Cluster Panel will focus on identifying opportunities for fostering regional research and commercialisation through the Ballarat ICT Cluster. It will be held at the Greenhill Enterprise Centre on Tuesday 5 June 2007. The following individuals have confirmed their participation:

    Panel 4: Growing regional exports through the Ballarat ICT Cluster

    The fourth panel on Tuesday 19 June 2007 will bring a number of individuals and organisations with experience and knowledge about the successful development of export opportunities in a regional location. Individuals who have confirmed their participation to date include:
