Victorian eHealth Network
After holding an initial forum during May 2008 to gauge interest in the formation of an eHealth network, Multimedia Victoria has now established a Working Group for the Victorian eHealth Network. Helen Thompson has been invited to join the working group as a representative for the Ballarat ICT Cluster. She attended the first working group meeting on 21 July 2008. ICT professional presents to LogOn participants
Participants of the Log_On program had their first presentation by an IT professional on Thursday 31st July 2008. Log_On is a program giving young people interested in ICT and web development the opportunity to work alongside Industry Mentors to develop the skills required to build a professional quality website. As part of this initiative, and with the support of Ballarat ICT, Log_On are inviting industry professionals to meet with the log_On participants in their 'work' environment.
