PROJECT FOCUS

The development of Ballarat ICT 2030 will incorporate research and consultation in the following areas:

• IT History - Trends and the Planning Environment
• Ballarat's IT Competencies and Resources - The Ballarat Story
• Local Aspirations - Overall Community ICT Vision
• Environment - ICT Trends and Uncertainties
• Strategic Options - ICT 2030 Vision

The consultation process will take place between September and December 2006.  A draft strategy for public comment and review will be available following this process.  The final Ballarat ICT 2030 strategy will be published in February 2007.
